What sort of carpentry do you provide?
We carry out all aspects of carpentry and maintenance. We provide carpentry services for new builds, renovations, extensions and repairs to residential and commercial properties, including period/heritage houses.
Our service include, but are not limited to
- Decks, pergolas, screens, carports and entertaining areas
- Door and window installation
- Wall and roof framing (site pitched and/or pre fab trusses etc.)
- Wall cladding
- Second fix carpentry – skirtings and architraves
- Carpentry for new builds, renovations and extensions
- Timber floor installation
- Formwork for footings and slabs
- Maintenance and repair to timber structures
How much do you charge?
All jobs are different. We strive to provide quality carpentry to meet your budget. We can provide you with a custom quote for your job. Or if you prefer we can provide you with a materials cost and carpentry labour rate of $55 – 65 per hour. (Depending on the job).
How much does a hardwood deck cost?
Hardwood decking can be a beautiful addition to your home, and can add value to your property. Hardwood timber decking costs vary, depending on the timber, size of deck, site access, stairs and/or balustrade requirements. We can come up with a plan to meet your needs and budget.
Timber prices have increased significantly over the last couple of years. An average hardwood deck with good site access, can cost between $350 to $450 per square meter. A treated pine deck is a cheaper option, and costs around $200 – $350 per square meter.
What locations do you cover?
We are located in Harrietville and service the Alpine Shire and surrounding areas.
Do you provide carpentry services for owner builders?
Yes, we work with owner builders. We can provide all or some of your carpentry needs. Get in touch and we can have a chat.
Do you do fencing?
No, we do not build fencing. However small picket fences is something we can build for you.
Do you do cabinets and wardrobes?
We are not cabinet makers and do not build cabinetry or custom wardrobes.
I have a small repair job to my existing weatherboard cladding, can you help?
Yes, please contact us with your requirements. We are happy to assist with all jobs, large and small.
